Lewis Creek Association’s Mountains to Mouth: An Exploration of the Watershed
Celebrating Ferrisburgh in 2026

Sunday, October 11th

LCA’s Annual Party will explore the watershed from Mountains to Mouth, celebrating the natural, cultural, and landscape history of Ferrisburgh. There will be morning field trips, followed by lunch & music, afternoon walks, and more! Join friends and neighbors for all or part of the day.

Location: North Ferrisburgh United Methodist Church Pavilion (227 Old Hollow Rd, North Ferrisburgh) and other nearby locations.

In the morning (9 AM - 12 PM), field trips will explore the Ferrisburgh Town Forest, or discover macroinvertebrates in Lewis Creek and learn about knotweed management efforts nearby.

The afternoon will begin outside at the North Ferrisburgh United Methodist Church Pavilion with lunch, remarks, and music from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM (lunch and refreshments provided or bring a picnic).

From 2:00 - 3:30/4:00 PM, join one of two walks along the Lewis Creek focusing on the History of the Hollow or Riparian Restoration Supporting Birds & Water Quality. We hope you can join us!
