Please join us for a brief tour of the newly restored wetland and help protect it from nearby invasives on Monday, September 28th at 4:30 PM.

We will tour the restored wetland with Jessica Louisos, Water Resources Engineer at SLR Consulting, and LCA staff. We will then identify native and introduced plant species with LCA’s Andrea Morgante, and remove the phragmites that threatens to invade the wetland.

There will be the opportunity to learn the phragmites spading technique and help us remove this introduced species. We will have a few spades on hand, but please bring if you have them: flat-edged spades (not pointed shovels), loppers/shears, and gardening or utility gloves.
