Projects

LCA conducts a variety of projects involving water quality monitoring, geomorphic assessments, and habitat conservation. Public outreach is an important element of these projects, many of which are completed with the help of project partners, town committees, and local volunteers from the towns of Ferrisburgh, Charlotte, Monkton, Hinesburg, Starksboro and Bristol. A list of recent projects the LCA has contributed to is listed in the sidebar. For final reports and outreach materials from these projects, please visit  LCA Library.

For historic projects, please go to LCA History and see projects by year.

River corridor conservation and restoration is of great importance to LCA, who works with many partners to complete conservation projects. A recent success story is the Baldwin farm and river corridor conservation project in Hinesburg. Read the article in the Burlington Free Press.
