LaPlatte Watershed Partnership
The LaPlatte Watershed Partnership's (LWP) mission is to protect significant ecological values and natural systems within the LaPlatte watershed for wildlife, plants and human cohabitation.
A citizen’s group made up of people from Charlotte, Hinesburg, Shelburne and Williston works with other organizations to provide resources and information that will facilitate conservation improvement activities in the watershed towns.
From the suburban neighborhoods of Shelburne to the countryside of Charlotte and Hinesburg, LWP vision is a watershed with a rich diversity of healthy plant and animal life that contributes to the quality of life of all creatures living within its boundaries.
